Searching for the digital workplace. Social networks wink at the intranet
After years spent using group intranets as repositories of institutional documents and information, in 2015, Reale Group created Fabbrica Futuro, a company social network with the aim of communicating ongoing project strategies and offering a collaboration and interaction tool for employees. Over the years, it has become the hub of internal communication and has undergone a number of transformations. Hence the idea of including both knowledge management activities and the access tools required for daily operations. Luisa Dominici and Matteo lo Bue talk about the process that is blending two very different tools into a single solution, overseeing company information management and daily activities, increasingly more characterised by collaboration and knowledge sharing.
